Pelican within the Indian River Plantation Resort is a 4-story oceanfront building which shares a community pool with it's sister building, Spoonbill. Together, these buildings are known as the Resort Villa Buildings.

Pelican, aka Resort Villa I, offers a shared heated swimming pool with Spoonbill, aka Resort Villa II, BBQ grilling area and private direct beach access. Residence access is via building elevator to open air walkways on each floor. 1-BR, 1-BA and 2-BR, 2-BA 2 floor plans are available to choose from. The Resort Villa Buildings were the first two buildings built at the Resort as short term rentals, and each floor has a shared coin operated laundry room. Some of the properties have assigned under building parking. The Pelican Condo Association requires a minimum week long rental.
