Turtle Walks
| Florida Oceanographic Society`s nighttime sea turtle program is conducted under a state permit and begins with an educational presentation on sea turtle biology and conservation followed by the opportunity, if nature cooperates, for guests to go out on the beach to observe the nesting behavior of a loggerhead sea turtle. Registration will begin May 1st.

Reservations will open April 1st. Walks are scheduled Thursdays & Fridays - May thru July . Numbers are limited & a donation of $5.00 per person is requested. Reservations are required & must be made in advance.

| Memorial Park was re-dedicated on Veterans Day, Friday, November 11, 2011 in an official Grand Reopening ceremony following a complete redesign. The centerpiece of the new park is the relocated Veterans Memorial panels.
